These plantains are large and in charge. I didn't shoot any stills, but so far I cooked two of them as each one turned a solid yellow. Even though they were still pretty firm, putting them in water to soak after slicing was key to having both the soft sweet slices that became crisp around the edges. Very fresh, not overipened before it's time !
