The instructions said use cold water to dissolve the yeast. Everyone knows yeast won’t grow on cold. It should be warm but I followed the instructions & the bread did not rise. My pandesal was so flat! Good thing I bought 2 packs. I’ll try again on the other pack but do not follow cold water. ALWAYS USE WARM WATER for yeast. That’s the General rule.

I like that they came in individual packets, the bread texture is quite okay but I didn't really like the taste, tastes very artificial to me. ?Maybe because I was expecting a slightly custardy yogurt filling rather than a jelly-like yogurt filling. The same brand’s salted egg yolk polo bun is more to my liking. Not really filling to me, I'm a small eater but I have to eat 2 packets to feel a bit filling. Which the calories exceed 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with fillings, I guess I will probably stick with the old-school loaf then. ?
