I threw the sauce into a random stir fry and it was divine! TBH it’s good as a dipping sauce too with some soy, sugar, and garlic just as it’s tasty as a stir fry sauce. I’ve also made it with bean curd and celery. Easy umami tip for lazy days. A little goes a long way!
Salted egg yolk + bitter melon is a perfect match; fried pumpkin with salted egg yolk is also worth a try.
