The perilla leaves were very fresh; there were many small bunches in one box. We used them for grilling meat and also cooked with bullfrog.
Dipping in sesame oil and soy and leave it in refrigerator for 30 minutes or so and eat over rice like NORI. Sooooo good!!
Ten bunches of fresh shiso leaves! We'll divide them into smaller portions for later use. Storing them vertically and keeping the stems submerged in water will help them last longer, so no worries there! They're surprisingly quick to use up in pasta, omelets, inari sushi, cold tofu, and as a garnish for udon noodles.
