It was just regular beef and was perfect for shabu-shabu.
I bought some meat slices to make Sukiyaki goose, but only this beef roll is not fatty and is very thin, which is especially suitable for Sukiyaki and tastes great.
It's OK. Don't cook it for too long, otherwise it will be a bit hard.

I thought i knew what a pound of beef looked like until now. This box is huge, each roll is huge. So many rolls as well, its hard to believe its only 1lb. I used it for hotpot and it was delicious. Taste very fresh, arrived 100% frozen. Did not take long to thaw and it was not difficult to separate the rolls.

marbling is usually a hit or miss
The delivery was good. I received it last night and put it in the air fryer this morning. I put olive oil and onions in it and fried it. It was thin, so it cooked quickly, wasn't tough, and didn't smell.
The wagyu can sometimes be a miss because of lack of marbling. The kobe beef one on Weee is more consistent with marbling
The color isn't great, but it looks good.

Meat is beautifully marbled, but quite thin. We grilled it to a nice medium rare, there were some chewy inedible bits on the sides, and the texture of the meat was a bit chewier than I would like it to be for USDA prime, but I guess that’s just how chuck roast meat is when it’s not slow cooked. Overall, a good quality product but not sure if it’s worth the price per pound.
It looks good but I can't chew it at all. Do you have the same problem as me?
