Other reviewers said it was in a plastic box, but what I received was vacuum-sealed in a bag. This makes the other roll easier to use. It would be quite difficult if you don't use the whole thing at once. It's about 5cm thick, so it seems impossible to cut it without thawing it. Using only a portion and putting the rest back in the freezer is impossible.
