If it wasn’t obvious, we love Ube. Ube Champorado was alright. I didn’t follow the directions because I wanted a more “Made from scratch” taste. I did half hot water and half evaporated milk and just a little spoon of condensed milk. I would purchase again for a quick on the go craving.

The directions on the item mention to not microwave, so just add hot water…I didn’t boil water, I ran hot water through my coffee maker, but adding hot tap-water seems like the easiest option. Leave the lid on slightly, or take it off regardless place something on top of the lid to trap heat for about 5-minutes. Personally, I like to cover for a bit longer then I let it sit in the refrigerator for awhile. I like to add coconut jelly as well. -There are 2-servings per container 170 calories- per serving There’s about 340 calories per container

I like it. It's different than regular pancake. This had more chew, smelled earthy, and a little sweet. I only needed cold butter with each bite. Next batch I will try with coconut ice cream.

Bought several of these on sale because our family loves ube. Made these the first time as instructed... but they came out flat. Added egg to the next batch and they came out higher and fluffy. As for taste, not really much ube taste. However, tasted good with the yema spread I had on hand. I'm sure it would satisfy our ube craving if we had some ube halaya spread on top.
