I wouldn't have known Ube pancake mix exists otherwise. I mixed water egg and a small amount of vinegar until the mix consistency is thick liquid but not lumpy and pan fried it and kind of had to adjust the heat from high heating up the oil to medium low to prevent it from burning. Flipping it was a bit messy but managed to make a whole pancake with a side of sliced hot dogs and saute onions. Thank you all immensely.
It’s bitter and the color is pigmented. I won’t repurchase.

Pretty good. To be honest, they taste like regular pancakes. Very faint ube flavor. I like the vibrant color.

I like it. It's different than regular pancake. This had more chew, smelled earthy, and a little sweet. I only needed cold butter with each bite. Next batch I will try with coconut ice cream.
Bought several of these on sale because our family loves ube. Made these the first time as instructed... but they came out flat. Added egg to the next batch and they came out higher and fluffy. As for taste, not really much ube taste. However, tasted good with the yema spread I had on hand. I'm sure it would satisfy our ube craving if we had some ube halaya spread on top.
Good to try especially when it’s on sale. Chewy texture and not so sweet.
Tried making waffles instead, surprisingly moist and gentle flavor. Added milk instead of water , one egg as directed!
Mixed them all together and make a yummy real yam pancakes. Soo good.

It's incredibly convenient and delicious; you don't even need to add oil, just fry it directly in a pan. I ate it for breakfast for two weeks straight.

Have a very nice ube taste but colour is too dark! Probably can use lesser though not sure how it will impact final taste. Goes well with coconut!
