I've repurchased this winter bamboo shoot many times. I feel there's not much difference between it and freshly peeled bamboo shoots. It goes well with many dishes; this time I used it to stir-fry rice cakes.
I feel this is almost indistinguishable from freshly peeled winter bamboo shoots, which saves me the trouble of peeling them myself. I keep repurchasing this.
