Yam is a bit pricey, but it tastes delicious and is good for the stomach.
I love healthy okonomiyaki with lots of yam, so I make it often. I put it in a food processor right away and freeze it.
It wasn't cut with a knife, but rather folded and put in a bag.
Finally managed to try this and I have to say that while the texture is slimy, I did manage to cut it into strips , seasoning it while adding a little flour and cornstarch to make some of the best fries I had in a while

I bought it because it was on sale, so I decided to give it a try. I've never cooked yams before.
I was surprised at how big it was! It's a great deal!
There were two. I used them to make grated yam and in stir-fries.
I received two fairly large ones. They were delicious whether I grated them and poured them over rice, or grilled them with the skin on in salt and sesame oil!
I was able to buy it cheaper than at the local supermarket. I eat it with grated yam rice or cut it into strips to eat as a snack.
