The last batch of oyster mushroom sticks I bought yielded nine. This time, I bought two more. I stumbled upon a trick: put the sticks in the refrigerator to cool down after they arrived. Two weeks later, I took them out and saw small, squashed mushrooms sprouting from under the plastic wrap (Picture 1). I partially removed the plastic wrap and started spraying them with water. Two days later, many small mushrooms emerged (Picture 2). Three days later, they were ready to harvest (Picture 3). After this batch has finished sprouting, place them in a pot, cover them with soil, and spray them with water to continue growing. Growing oyster mushroom sticks is endless fun! Storing them in the refrigerator in their original packaging keeps them moist and helps them produce mushrooms more easily.
