This was delicious, better than some dim sum restaurants. I steamed it using my rice cooker and it was soft and moist, just like at the restaurants. The only thing missing is the egg yolk and the Chinese sausage, but I dont usually eat that anyways so this is perfect for me. Definitely will order again.

I was so surprised to see this offering from Wei-Chuan, a family-trusted brand I’ve been enjoying forever. The flavor is so clear and it reminds me of the “Chinese tamales” my mother and grandmother would make. It’s packed with umami and nostalgia for me. Wei-Chuan makes it easy for you to prepare these if you don’t have a steamer basket like the one I used. You can steam it in the packaging by cutting vents in two corners. I don’t know how I can share how very happy I am to have found this.
