Texture is fun and chewy, and they’re very low in calories, which is great. But the flavor is pretty plain on their own—you really need to season them well. Rinsing is a must or they have a slight sea smell. Good for cold salads, but not something I’d eat every day.

The instructions say to soak it in cold water for 2 minutes but it is still hard like rubber and does not expand, so I put it in boiling water but it still does not expand and is still hard like rubber.

I boiled it to soften it and the texture is so good! I like the crunchy hard jelly like texture and it soaks up sauces so well! there is no weird flavor either!!
