Apparently, satsumaage is called tempura in the Kansai region of Japan, but what is tempura called in the Kansai region? Could someone tell me? This product is what they call satsumaage in the Kanto region. It's light in color, but that's no problem at all. When I opened it after thawing, it smelled amazing. When I cut it, I couldn't see anything in particular. I cooked it with soy sauce and sake, and when I ate it, there were about four small pieces of squid in each piece. It was delicious, so I'll definitely buy it again.
