I am so happy that Weee is selling these, it's been a long time that I haven't eaten this kind of fish. it's one of my favorite when i was still a kid. my late mom used to mix with beaten eggs and fried it, then we put ketchup on the top, oh my so delicious, remembering the good old days. Thanks Weee for having these. I really can't wait to cook.
The whitebait seemed to be wild and tasted great, the scrambled eggs were top notch, and the rice was great!

The box arrived torn, but the contents were fine. I saw some reviews saying that there was a lot of rubbish mixed in, but in my case there was very little and I just had to remove a few pieces that floated to the top while boiling. There was a lot, so I made a shirasu bowl with it. I boiled it all at once and froze the rest.
I bought it to see what it was like, but it was quite full.
Bought it for a friend. Heard the scrambled eggs are delicious.
It's a big piece. Let's thaw it first. Try scrambled eggs tomorrow.

Too small. These are small for the traditional Pinoy kilawin. Not much flesh is left cleaning/deboning. Not worth the trouble.
I love these dilis because it's nutritious. its been a long long time I haven't eaten and I miss it. thanks Weee for having this. good to cook a tinola with moringa leaves, green papaya with ginger...missing the good old days. its still frozen, properly packed and most esp wild caught.
