Sweetened red beans. I enjoyed it with Mochi rice cake on New Year’s Day!
It's a can filled with a rich, tsubuan (bean paste) filling (not sweet boiled azuki beans with a liquid). Since it's this time of year, I had it with a winter solstice pumpkin (→ I forgot about this and posted this late). It's Morinaga, so you can't go wrong!
Ahhhh this is so good! Tastes like real red bean paste!
It's mochi season now, so I'll be eating it as red bean mochi or zenzai! Maybe I'll make shiratama and turn it into bean dumplings.
