I don't eat flattened oats. They get too mushy when cooked with a steel cutter. This is a whole, uncut oat. Soak it with brown rice, black beans, and chickpeas for six or seven hours, then pressure cook for 13 minutes. It's fragrant, chewy, and delicious.

It’s pretty good. It does have more of the oats than the konjac rice. I like it especially if I want to eat rice right away instead of having to wait until the rice cooker is done but also focusing on eating healthy rice. I’m always looking for ways to help my mom eat healthier rice as well so I think this is a good choice to start with.
