I tried one packet, but it didn't have much effect; it was about the same as using fresh lemons normally.

Put one pack in hot water in an electric kettle, wait for 30 minutes, throw it away, and wash it several times with clean water. This is good for removing old limescale without much effort.
It works very well for cleaning electric kettles.
