These are huge, fresh chestnuts. I hope they'll taste good.
They all looked big and fresh when I bought them. This photo shows what's left after we ate them. Some were spoiled, but it's not visible on the surface. Overall, they were pretty good and delicious.

Huge chestnuts!
Before cooking I washed the chestnuts whether they were good quality or not. Warm-eaten chestnuts would float at the top of the water and good ones would sink to the bottom of the bowl. At least one third of the chestnuts were floating and I had to toss them out. It was disappointment experience.
