I bought this fresh ginseng because of its health benefits I didn't know exactly what the benefits are but, most Chinese incorporate ginseng on their cuisine. So, what i have here is a slow cooked chicken soup with ginseng. I also added some dried dates and carrots for sweetness. I cooked it in a slow cooker for 5 hours.
