Bamboo shoots with high meat yield are suitable for stir-frying or cooking curry and hot and sour soup.It's not very suitable for making clear soups or cold salads. The meat is a little thicker than ordinary green bamboo shoots, and it's not that sweet.

I didn't find any edible parts. The inside was already black. It must have been frozen.

Found out it’s not the green bamboo shoot we usually eat as cold salad after I received it. So I boiled and then fried with meat. Family still likes it.The fresh bamboo has some dark spots already when I received it. Not sure if I will buy it again.
