I love empanadas and decided to try this chicken empanada for our “baon” on our road trip. I air fried it at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. I used parchment paper so no oiling of tray. I did not use egg wash either. Empanadas came out delicious. The crust is not overwhelming. It is tasty and crunchy. The filling is delicious. This will definitely be a constant in my freezer from now on. Yummy.

I had empanada at the Latino supermarket but this one is much better. A little smaller, but other than that, it’s an excellent choice for merienda or even breakfast.
