Actually, I've never bought it in Japan, but I bought it from this site for the first time last time. Both times, they delivered it with an ice pack. I wish it was a little cheaper so I could eat it more often, but my husband doesn't eat mochi, so I can have it all to myself without worrying, so that's a relief (lol)
