As expected, Japanese ramen is delicious, and even though it was a little more expensive than usual, it was delicious.
The noodles are chewy and taste almost like fresh noodles! They are by far the tastiest among instant noodles. I've only tried the miso flavor so far, but I'd like to try other flavors too.

This particular brand (マルちゃん正麺) is packed with flavors and very high quality. I like all three flavors (Miso, Tonkotsu, Soy Sauce). Although it’s an instant noodle, the noodle quality is almost like from the ramen store/restaurant. I thought the price ($8.99 not on sale) was reasonable, especially when I can’t find it at local Asian grocery stores.
This is my first time trying Maruchan Seimen miso flavor. I made it in the microwave. I put the right amount of water in a microwave container and microwaved for 4 minutes (←my microwave settings), then added the noodles and another 3 minutes (loosening the noodles halfway through), then added the soup and a little topping this time. It's delicious . Personally, I prefer the noodles a little thinner, but both the noodles and the soup are satisfactory. I prefer it better than the soy sauce flavor. I'll order it again.
I've been wanting this for a while, so I bought it! The noodles were chewier and more delicious than regular instant ramen. They only had miso and pork bone flavors, so I hope they sell other flavors too!

It's been a long time since I last had Maruchan Seimen. I made it in the microwave (boil the appropriate amount of water in a microwave-safe container for about 4 minutes, add the noodles and microwave for 3 minutes [loosening the noodles halfway through], then add the soup and finish. This time I added a little bit of topping). I wonder if the impact this product had when it first came out has distorted my memory? Eating it again after so long doesn't make as much of a splash as it did back then. . Personally, I prefer thinner noodles with a soy sauce-flavored soup. The soup, for better or worse, has a milder flavor (no, I'm not saying that insultingly, it's delicious). In any case, (I've seen something resembling the American version of Maruchan Seimen in the past [Maruchan Gold?], but I haven't seen it lately) I'm so happy that Maruchan Seimen is now easily available in the US.
