It's mainly because I have had some nostalgia thinking about what my parents used to like for snacks when I was younger, but since I was a very picky child, I thought their snacks from Taiwan were strange. 😂 Now that I am an adult, I've been eating a lot of Taiwanese snacks, especially since I haven't been back to Taiwan since 2019. The Tang Shop date candy is delicious! It's not too sweet, but has a very good flavor and feels like a "healthy" candy. I am will definitely be buying more soon.

This candy is so so so tasty! It’s not too sweet, but sweet enough to be delightful. It has some of the bitterness from walnuts but not over powering. And it’s a bit sticky but not so sticky that you feel unhealthy for your teeth. Everything is just done right!

Delicious, one of my childhood favorites! do be cautious about leaving it in too warm places though, it won't melt but it does grow soft and more chewy and my personal preference is eating this with a little more qq (nor sure how to say this in English, kind of bouncy chewy rather than soft chewy?) texture
I was worried that the product will be melted due to hot weather this week. Luckily the products are in its original rectangular shape. No sign of melted! It is pricey but it tastes better than the one from Tang Shop. Will sure to buy again when on sale.
