Ogawaya's "Grilled and Pickled Salmon Shredded (150g/bottle)" is a rice accompaniment made from the popular, long-established Niigata store Ogawaya's signature product, "Grilled and Pickled Salmon," in a more convenient, shredded form. Made from carefully selected salmon (mainly from Chile), it is grilled once using traditional methods, then marinated in a sauce containing special soy sauce, sugar, mirin, sake, red chili pepper, celery, etc., bringing out the salmon's original umami, aroma, and sweet-salty flavor. The extra bones have been carefully removed, making it safe for children and the elderly to eat. It has a soft, flaked texture and can be used in a variety of dishes, not just as a topping on rice, but also as a filling for onigiri rice balls, as a topping for ochazuke, pasta, and salad.
