This is my first time eating this kind of fermented bean curd! It's very salty, fragrant, and spicy! People who like spicy food will be more accepting of this flavor. I'm okay with the spice, but it's too salty. I can only eat a small chopstick tip at a time. Otherwise, my eyes will be swollen the next morning. lol
It's okay, it's too salty to eat directly! It's best to add tea oil and sugar. I don't have tea oil, so I use olive oil and sesame oil, which is okay.

In fact, Yunnan also has vegetarian fermented bean curd similar to this one, but it's not available everywhere.
