This 100% pure lotus root powder contains no starch or other additives.
Lotus root is the underground rhizome of the lotus, rich in starch, protein, and fiber.
The production process includes harvesting, washing, peeling, grinding, filtering, sedimentation, scraping, and sun-drying. Each batch takes more than one week to complete, with limited yield.
This meticulous handmade method creates a naturally pure product.
Lotus root powder is a nourishing food. It can be enjoyed hot or cold, either as a drink or used in cooking.
Usage:
Drink:
Bring water to a boil, turn off the heat, then gently sprinkle lotus root powder (95˚C–100˚C) into the hot water while stirring.
Adjust thickness to taste. (Thicker mixtures will set into a pudding-like texture once cooled.)
Add honey, brown sugar, maple syrup, or rock sugar as desired. Enjoy warm in winter or chilled in summer.
Tip: Do not add too much at once to avoid clumping.
Cooking:
Use lotus root powder as a natural thickener, a healthy substitute for cornstarch.
