Here are my thoughts on a daifuku I tried from China. This daifuku had kinako (roasted soybean flour) and red bean paste inside. The texture was a bit firm. The sweetness was just right—even for a Japanese palate like mine, it wasn’t too sweet. If you don’t mind kinako, I think this is a good-value option.

Went wonderful with our hot pot. Love it!

It is very flavorful. Filling is on the sweeter side but can taste the peanuts quite well. The rice cake is soft and dense which is a texture I prefer.

First time purchase.

First time buying this flavor. Hope it’s good.
