Individually packaged! bought for my wife to try, and she says it's kind of a numbing spicy, but she loved it!

not what I was expecting from the description but good otherwise. I thought these would be crunchy/crispy like potato chips, or a dried product. these are instead a wet, vacuum packed sliced lotus root in a very mild seasoned sauce. very light on spiciness. good flavor though. would be nice in a soup. the lotus root is still crunchy and crisp, as it would be if fresh sliced. there are 5 individual packets. each packet has about 3 lotus root slices in it.

This lotus root is my favorite snack and the taste is not that spicy.
